It did! A small miracle :-)
We shall expect updates with photos of grandmere poised above 100 candles on a cake the size of a young adult moose, of course.
Sad to relate, thanks to KLM's inefficiency, I missed the party by a couple hours and never saw the cake :-(
I heard it was very good though!
